Husband and I love this place! Besides the typical Korean BBQ, we wanted something different. And this was the place! It's a hidden gem!

We usually ordered dishes that you normally can't get at other Korean spots. We love soup and their Zam Pong Seafood Noodle Soup hits the spot every time. Broth is spicy, flavorful and all types of seafood is in this soup! Other favorites is the Black Bean Noodles, Fried Shrimps, Korean Wings and their Kim Chee Fried Rice with Egg on top!

Overall the food is delicious and very different than other Korean spots. We love to try new dishes and this place offer a lot of dishes we never tried before. Definitely coming back to try other dishes!

I love this place. Black bean sauce noodles always seem to get overlooked. I've been getting zazang noodles here since I first moved back to SF back in 2003. The amount of spice they add to their dish is just the right amount. I love everything about these noodles. Definitely making these noodles my cheat meal of the week!

I've had the noodles that come in a broth but those were not as good, however, ZKN is king in what they specialize in and that's what counts in my book!

The only sad part is that they don't deliver. I believe you can order in advance for pick-up but hey, worth the drive/app ride!

This place is a breath of fresh air for original Korean food.

Most Korean places focus on Korean bbq or tofu soup but this place specializes in black noodle soup.

    Food and service is great.

Get the large zazang, tang sue yuk and you'll never go wrong.

I've been meaning to try this place for years and I finally got a chance this past weekend. They have a wider selection than I remember. They not only have noodle dishes but now have korean fried chicken and other korean classic soups/stews. They seemed short staffed with only one person running all the tables, but they were attentive. The jajangmyun was good, not the greatest I've ever had, but to fulfill a craving it was definitely good enough! If I am craving something late night, I know I can rely on this place being open to satisfy my cravings. I am giving this four stars for the convenience and service.

Many Korean places seem focused on BBQ and/or tofu soup and/or fried chicken.  So it was a nice change to see one focused on black bean noodles.  The signature dish was quite tasty and the other items were satisfying too.

Boiled Shrimp Potstickers: The name is an oxymoron since it can't possibly be a potsticker if it is boiled.  That aside, it was pretty delicious.  Delicate dumpling skin with ample amounts of shrimp among the greens.  I liked the long shape because I could get two bites in without the filling falling out between bites.

Za Zang Myun: Love the thick sauce.  The mouthfeel on it is so hearty and satisfying.  The noodles were nice and chewy too.  It was a bit skimpy on the ground pork though.  Not sure if it's the nature of the dish or just this place's rendition.

Bulgogi: I appreciated that the beef was nicely seared.  Some places cut corners on bulgogi, with it more similar to wet gyūdon.  The marinade was flavorful too.  Felt the salad side was a little boring, would have preferred a few different banchan.
